Kenya’s National Infrastructure Fund Opens a Route for Private-Sector Investment
On 5 November, Kenya promoted its National Infrastructure Fund to international investors as a vehicle for mobilising private capital into major development projects. The programme targets US$27 billion in infrastructure investment, with US$2.7 billion reported as initial capital. This is an infrastructure-financing initiative, not a confirmed merger, acquisition or completed fundraising round. It offers opportunities for corporate-finance advisers, institutional investors and project-finance specialists. HPC can support investment research, financial-partner identification and transaction preparation.
