Algeria restored full flight operations at Hassi-Messaoud Airport in Ouargla following approval of its rehabilitated runway, with the development reported on 27 October 2026. Air Algérie introduced 36 weekly flights from 25 October, connecting the airport with Algiers, Oran and In-Amenas, creating opportunities for airlines, hotels and travel operators in passenger-demand forecasting, digital booking systems and tourism analytics.
